Nacogdoches is snuggled deep in the piney woods of East Texas. It is the Oldest Town in Texas, and has a rich historical background, dating back to the establishment of Spanish missions in 1721-22. Texas's first two newspapers were set to type at the Old Stone Fort located in Nacogdoches. Stephen F. Austin State University, home of approximately 12,000 students is nestled in this growing community.
