Huntington State Bank Trade Area
It is the intent of Huntington State Bank to provide superior customer service. Since Huntington State Bank is a community bank it has defined its service territory as Angelina, Nacogdoches and the surrounding counties. The Internet Banking program has broadened this scope of service area to that of the State of Texas. The State of Texas is considered an acceptable trade area in that the laws and regulations regarding account documentation, disclosures, and regulations would be in keeping with that of the banks current customer base. However, any account request that is outside of our normal service area of Angelina, Nacogdoches and the surrounding counties will be considered out of area and would require the approval of the senior loan committee prior to opening a new deposit account or a new loan. The purpose of this restriction is to insure that we know our customers.
